OFFERED PROGRAMS
COED 8U - Youth Development (Grades K-3)
The primary objective of the Youth 8U program is to introduce boys and girls to the sport of lacrosse. Focus is put on the basic skills used in the game. We have three goals at this early age, to have fun, learn a ton and be safe doing so. Kids will learn teamwork, basic rules and field spacing. They will practice/scrimmage 2-3 times a week. Scrimmages will be local, and we'll always look for other local clubs to play, if not ourselves. Games are played with 3-6 players on the field at a time with no goalies. There are attackers, middies and defensive players. We play on a smaller (cross) field and have two 12-minute halves. Everyone plays every position to help provide more involvement and touches.

Players on the boys 8U will play games in the Tucson Youth Lacrosse League (TYLL) & inter-league with the Arizona Youth Lacrosse League (AYLL). This is the first time the boys will be in full gear. Oro Valley High School
(Junior Varsity/Varsity)
High School players play in the Arizona Lacrosse League (ALL – boys) & Arizona Girls Lacrosse Association (AGLA). Full NFHS rules are used and they play other high school organizations.
We fielded a boys’ varsity and junior varsity team in 2018, with the boy’s varsity winning the ALL Division 2 championship. The boys moved up to Division 1 in the 2019 season.
We fielded a girl’s junior varsity team in 2019. Complementing the SalPointe junior varsity team in Tucson, we will mostly play games in Phoenix. We are excited to potentially introduce a girls’ varsity team in 2021.
Both high school teams practice 3-4 times a week with games mainly on the weekends, although in-Tucson games may be played during the week.
